Abdullah is becoming a bad name. The latest to join the list is the arrogant former foreign minister of Afghanistan who thinks he should be president.
The Muslim world is plagued by too many Abdullahs: King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia, King Abdullah of Jordan and now, Abdullah Abdullah of Afghanistan! The last one has only one name, Abdullah, but he has to conform to Western demands for a first name and last name, so he has adopted the double-barrel arrangement. He has hit a tantrum because he thinks he is being deprived of his “right” to be Afghanistan’s president even if the majority of Afghans do not want him there.
