The US should get out of Afghanistan—not tomorrow, but today. America has lost the war. There should be no American troops left over in Afghanistan, says a reader.

President Barack Obama is of two minds about Afghanistan. He cannot sustain his military there indefinitely, especially now that the US has lost the war but he wants to keep some troops there because of the country’s mineral resources. He finds himself on the horns of a dilemma. Let us face it: the US has been soundly defeated. The sooner they get out of Afghanistan, the better for everyone. Obama, hurry up and get lost!
