Who was behind the attack on General Dempsey’s plane in Kabul? A reader offers an interesting alternative perspective.

The Taliban have claimed they were responsible for the August 21 rocket attack on General Martin Dempsey’s plane at Bagram Air Base in Kabul. General Dempsey, Chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff, was not in the plane at the time but several technicians working on the plane were injured. Did the Taliban really carry out the attack? The US media has accepted this version but there is another view that has come to light. American commentator Gordon Duff has suggested it was not the Taliban but a “mob hit” by the Zionists against someone “who failed to kiss the feet of Netanyahu.” A few days earlier, Dempsey had visited Israel and told Netanyahu that the US would have no part in his criminal enterprise to attack Iran. As a military man, Dempsey understands the consequences of such action. If Duff is right, America has a serious problem with the Zionists.
