In the changed global environment, only adherence to Islamic principles will bring about the kind of change Muslims are looking for.
Br. Zafar, in the concluding remarks in your Reflections column (CI, November 2013), you wrote, “We cannot discount more mischief from the Zionist-Wahhabi duo but this is likely to prove the last gasps of two dying ideologies.” Let us make sure that the only ideology arising from our combined effort is the Islamic one. It is only Islam that can provide a melting pot of ethnic backgrounds and intellectual dispositions. It is only Islam that can provide the needed justice and fairness to every human being in the world.
