Qur’an-burning has become the favourite ploy of Islamophobes worldwide to express their hatred of Muslims.

And such incidents are not confined to Europe.

Qur’an-burning incidents are also taking place in the US.

In the past it was ignorant Christian preachers who indulged in such outrageous behaviour.

Now Hindutva terrorists have joined the Qur’an-burning crusade.

The latest episode came to light in Naperville, Illinois, where a Hindu student set fire to the Qur’an.

The incident reportedly occurred over the summer and was only recently posted to social media platforms.

The perpetrator is apparently a 16-year-old student whose family has links to the local RSS “shaka.”

Shakas are local branches of the fascist RSS outfit.

The RSS—Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh—was established in 1925 and now has more than 6 million members.

They receive military-style training and have a long history of perpetrating horrific crimes against minorities, especially Muslims in India.

The racist RSS Hindutva terrorists have taken control of the state machinery in India.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi emerged from the bowels of the RSS.

Since his rise to power, attacks against Muslims, Dalits, Christians and Sikhs have escalated alarmingly.

There have also been numerous incidents of Qur’an-burning in India.

In some instances, Muslims have also been burned alive.

While condemned worldwide for their anti-minority ideology and human rights abuses, this has not deterred the Hindutva terrorists from continuing with their murderous campaign.

The RSS hate-filled campaign has now gone global with“shaka” branches opening worldwide, especially in countries where a large number of Hindu migrants from India have settled.

This has enabled the Hindutva terrorists to take their campaign overseas.

The Qur’an-burning incident is but a small manifestation of this worrying trend.

Agents of India’s intelligence agency, RAW, are no less active as was evident from the murder of a Sikh activist, Hardeep Singh Nijjar on June 18 in Surrey, BC.

Nijjar was the president of Guru Nanak Gurdwara in Surrey, BC and actively promoted a vote for an independent Khalistan.

On September 18, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau stood up in the House of Commons and announced that there was credible information that Indian intelligence agents were involved in the murder of Nijjar.

India’s top intelligence agent in Canada, Pawan Kumar Rai, operating under diplomatic cover in the high commission in Ottawa was expelled.

Evan Dyer and Alexander Panetta of the CBC, in an explosive revelation on September 21, said that Canada had intercepted communications of Indian intelligence agents discussing the murder of Nijjar.

Further, that despite Delhi’s public bluster, in private conversations, Indian officials never denied their agents’ involvement.

If India can go to this length to murder citizens of other countries on their territory, what else will it not do?

Burning copies of the Qur’an would be considered a minor affair, as far as the Hindutva fascists are concerned.
