The military regime has failed to crush the Ikhwan but Egypt faces a grim future.
The military in Egypt is trying desperately hard to crush the Ikhwan but so far it has failed. The reason is simple. It is not the Ikhwan’s political acumen or ability but rather the social services they have provided to the people who are coming out to support them. The military will not give up because it realizes that the Ikhwan is the only party/organization that poses a challenge to them. It will depend how the Ikhwan respond to this challenge that will determine whether they can survive in this hostile environment.
