Israeli occupation forces have struck the Shujaeya Camp in Gaza City perpetrating a blood bath. Reports are still coming in of casualties.

Reports from Al Sheja'eya neighborhood in Gaza City say the Israeli occupation army is attacking the neighborhood with massive firepower and many casualties are feared.

Thousands of civilians are trapped inside and their lives are in danger. The Zionist attack is continuing as this report is being compiled. There are loud explosions as shells and tank fire ring out.

The Red Cross is merely standing by doing little or nothing.

Our correspondent in Gaza City has just received a call appealing for humanitarian missions to intervene and help evacuate all residents immediately.

Their lives are in danger as the zionists continue to bomb the place without respite.

Reports from the camp say at least 20 persons, many of them children and elderly, have been killed in heavy Israeli shelling of the camp. A family of four, mother, two children and their grandmother were the among those murdered by the zionists using tanks to shell the camp. Hundreds have been injured.

Meanwhile, the Shaikh of Al-Azhar, Shaikh Ahmed al-Tayeb has condemned Israeli killing of civilians as a war crime and called upon the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Arab League, the UN Security Council and international children's organizations to take up the matter and stop Israel's killing of civilians.
