Libya is in a mess, thanks to the Western-trained and armed militias. The people continue to suffer but the West is not bothered. Their purpose was to destroy the country; they have succeeded in that.

The chaos and mayhem in Libya is also extremely sad. The people have been used and abused massively. Western countries have a lot to answer for. We do not read about the terrible situation in Libya in the Western media anymore. What can they say; that the country has gone to the dogs and that the militias they trained and armed are running amok? The grim plight of Libya should serve as a wake up call for those in Syria, although a minority, calling for Western intervention. It will be a bigger disaster.
