The much-maligned Muslims are the greatest victims of hate crimes as the growing attacks on Islamic centres and mosques show.

Hardly a day passes without an attack occurring on Muslims in some US city. Gentle Canada is not immune from racism either; there have been several attacks on masjids. Last month, a masjid in Hamilton, ON, was set on fire. Fortunately, people inside put out the fire and the assailant was caught. In the US, Muslims have been stabbed to death, set on fire, and their masjids vandalized. Donald Trump has much to do with this as do such media outlets as Fox News and CNN.
