Letters To The Editor

Saudi Arabia is definitely heading for turbulent times. With King Abdullah virtually in his grave and Crown Prince Salman soon to follow, what will come next for the desert kingdom?

It is a common Saudi practice that when they are in trouble, they simply keep quiet, hoping people will not notice and that the problems of their own making would just blow away. In recent weeks, there has been little news from the kingdom. Al-Arabiya, the Saudi propaganda mouthpiece has resorted to using old footage of King Abdullah being wheeled out of hospital or “receiving guests.” Kingdom insiders have confirmed he is not in control of his faculties. The House of Saud is heading toward turbulent times. I pray for the day when they are gone; they are nothing but trouble.
