The US government spends more money to kill people worldwide, than care for its own citizens in need of decent healthcare.

After the recent violent events in Boston, it appears that Muslims are not the only victims of Washington’s mischievous governing policies, but so are the average US citizens.

While the US government plans to spend $526 billion dollars on its military in 2014 in order to continue invading other sovereign states, its citizens are left on their own once they require medical assistance. The victims of the violent events in Boston are now facing near bankruptcy as most of them cannot afford their medical bills.

Health insurance of most US citizens affected by the events in Boston do not cover all costs and in the case of artificial limbs, for example, some insurance companies pay for a basic model but not a computerized one with lifelike joints. Reporting on the issue of rising medical bills for average US citizens affected by the events in Boston, Associated Press writes, “cost of amputating a leg? At least $20,000. Cost of an artificial leg? More than $50,000 for the most high-tech models. Cost of an amputee’s rehab? Often tens of thousands of dollars more. These are a fraction of the medical expenses victims of the Boston Marathon bombing will face.”

In 2009 CNN reported that “according to "Dying for Coverage," the latest report by Families USA, 72 Americans die each day, 500 Americans die every week and approximately Americans 2,175 die each month, due to lack of health insurance.”

In 2010 the U.S. health system ranked "last or next-to-last on five dimensions of a high performance health system: quality, access, efficiency, equity, and healthy lives," according to the report by the Commonwealth Fund, a New York-based private foundation focused on health.

On April 17, 2013 The Journal of the American Medical Association study discovered that the US hospitals are financially discouraged from properly caring for their patients because, surgical complications and extra medical care result in higher profits generated from insurance companies. The author of the study and Harvard School of Public Health director Atul Gawande stated that “We have never seen hospitals that are actively trying to cause complications to make a profit, But we’ve seen a lot of hospitals where you say, ‘Why aren’t you investing in reducing risk, the way other industries do?”

While the US government is continuing to interfere in the affairs of sovereign nations in order to make them more US like, it is intentionally ignoring its population that cannot afford decent healthcare. Those being deceived by the sugar-coated propaganda of the US government about the “ideal US model of governance” must ask themselves if they want to copy a state system that spends billions to kill people worldwide, but refuses to spend billions to save its own citizens.
