Trump’s final solution for Palestinians: Ethnic cleansing and US occupation of Gaza

What Benjamin Netanyahu and his genocidal military could not achieve through mass murder in Gaza, Donald Trump wants to achieve by political means.

Speaking at a February 4 press conference with the indicted war criminal Netanyahu, the US president said the US will “take over” and “own” Gaza.

Palestinians will be settled elsewhere and the US would embark on an extraordinary redevelopment plan that he claimed could turn the enclave into “the Riviera of the Middle East”.

Trump claimed that everyone he spoke to, loved the plan.

One wonders who he speak to?

Several days ago, he had said he had spoken to the king of Jordan asking him to take the Palestinians.

Speaking aboard Air Force One, Trump claimed he had discussed the matter with Egyptian president Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, stating, “I wish he would take some. We helped them a lot, and I’m sure he’d help us... But I think he would do it, and I think the King of Jordan would do it too.”

Egypt flatly denied that such a conversation had taken place.

Meeting in Cairo on February 1, the foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Egypt, and Jordan, as well as Palestinian Authority advisor Hussein al-Sheikh, rejected the idea and conveyed their decision in a letter to US Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

Trump’s plan is so preposterous that it has been greeted with widespread derision, including from his closes NATO allies, such as France.

Let us recall what Trump said at the February 4 press conference with Netanyahu.

“The US will take over the Gaza Strip and we will do a job with it, too. We’ll own it.”

He went on that the US would be responsible for clearing destroyed buildings and dismantling “dangerous unexploded bombs and other weapons.”

The main culprit responsible for Gaza’s destruction and the genocide of its people was standing right next to him.

Far from arresting Netanyahu for war crimes—an arrest warrant has been issued for him by the International Criminal Court (ICC)—Trump was sucking up to him.

Trump even claimed “long-term ownership position” over the enclave.

“This was not a decision made lightly,” he said.

“Everybody I’ve spoken to loves the idea of the United States owning that piece of land, developing and creating thousands of jobs with something that will be magnificent,” he said.

One wonders who Trump spoke to, unless he meant his Jewish son-in-law Jared Kushner.

A close friend of Netanyahu, Kushner had floated the idea that Gaza beach front could be turned into luxury hotels and apartments.

Naturally, he and his company, Affinity Partners will be major beneficiaries.

When asked about the Palestinians in Gaza, Kushner said they would have to be “relocated elsewhere”.

In other words, ethnically cleansed to make way for his money-making scheme.

Kushner’s Affinity Partners owns shares in the Israeli company, Phoenix Financial.

This latter entity finances illegal Jewish settlements in the occupied West Bank and the Golan Heights.

For the record, the Saudi, Emirati and Qatari regimes own shares in Affinity Partners.

In other words, they are partners in financing illegal Jewish squatter colonies on occupied lands, contary to international law.

At the February 4 press confernce, Trump said Gaza could become home to the “world’s people”.

“I think you will make that into an international, unbelievable place. I think the potential in the Gaza Strip is unbelievable. And I think the entire world – representatives from all over the world will be there and they’ll live there.”

As an after-thought, he said Palestinians also, Palestinians will live there.”

Not surprisingly, the Palestinians have dismissed Trump’s suggestion as outlandish and outrageous.

There is a simpler solution to the problem in the region.

The US should take all the zionists, originally from Europe, Russia and the US, out of Palestine and settle them in America.

Give them the choicest land in California, Nevada, Arizona and New Mexico.

They claim that they turned the desert into fertile land in Palestine.

Nevada, Arizona and New Mexico could do with some innovative agricultural techniques and turn their deserts and bushes into productive land.

Besides, the Jewish squatters would feel right at home in these states.

The West Asian region will at long last have some peace, after nearly a century of chaos and destruction.
