Donald Trump would do well to read history—if he is capable—and learn its lessons before threatening Muslims.

Donald Trump wants to destroy the Muslims but what he ignores is what Allah (swt) may have planned for him. History may repeat itself as was the case with the Mongol hordes, on a mission to destroy Islam. They were won over by it. Genghis Khan’s one grandson, Berke Khan, was sent to the North Caucasus and Eastern Europe to subdue the Kipchak Turks. The other grandson, Hulagu Khan attacked and sacked Baghdad.

While returning to the Mongol homeland, Berke stopped in Bukhara and during interaction with local Muslims, embraced Islam. Many of his soldiers followed suit leading to tension with other Mongol armies including those ravaging Baghdad, which Berke vowed to avenge. Allah says in the noble Qur’an, “And if you turn away [from Allah’s døn], He will replace you with another people that will not be like you” (47:38).
