US-Iran Indirect talks amid Trump’s threat of war

Islamic Iran and the US concluded their second round of indirect talks in Geneva on February 17.

Oman’s Foreign Minister, Badr Al-Busaidi acted as go-between.

After four hours of talks, Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said “good progress had been made” with a clear path ahead..

It was also announced that another round would be held soon, without specifying when and where.

The talks were confined to Iran’s nuclear file, at Tehran’s insistence.

Amid the indirect talks, the US has deployed the aircraft carrier, Abraham Lincoln to the region, loitering about 1,000 kms from Iran’s borders.

Another aircraft carrier, the USS Gerald Ford is on its way.

The convicted felon Donald Trump is threatening war unless Iran agrees to his demands, dictated by the indicted war criminal Benjamin Netanyahu.

These include abandoning uranium enrichment and limiting the range of its missiles.

Iran has categorically rejected both.

The threat or use of force against any country contravene the UN charter and international law.

Legal niceties, however, have never constrained western warmongers.

Islamic Iran has warned at the highest level, including the Rahbar, Imam Seyyed Ali Khamenei, that if attacked, the war would engulf the entire region.

That would include the 19 US military bases in the region as well as zionist Israel.

Last June, the zionists and Americans attacked Iran after lulling it into holding talks while secretly plotting to attack it.

The Islamic Republic lost a number of senior military commanders and nuclear scientists.

This time Iran is fully prepared, with its finger on the trigger.

Any wrong move by the US or Israel, and Iran will unleash its hypersonic missiles against both.

While the US naval fleets have considerable fire power, they are also quite vulnerable.

American commanders have privately expressed fear that Iran could unleash swarms of drones and high speed boats and overwhelm the ships’ radar and missile systems.

At the beginning of February, Iran unveiled the hypersonic missile, Khorramshahr-4 that can travel at speeds of 16 Mach.

After a week of fighting, Israel begged for a ceasefire.

This time, Iran will not accept a ceasefire.

Since last June, Iran has manufactured tens of thousands of new missiles in preparation for war.

Iran has also announced that there will be no strategic restraint this time.

Its allies—Hizbullah, Ansarallah and Iraqi militias—will also be activated.

The treacherous Arabian rulers, especially the Emiratis and Jordanians, have been warned that they too will be punished if their territory is used to attack Iran.

Some speculate that Israel might use nuclear weapons.

Trump must decide whether he wants to go down in flames or withdraw from the region while there is a chance.

The odds of a deal and war are 50:50.
