Millions of people worldwide participated in rallies today (Friday April 5) marking the International Day of Quds.
Millions more, especially in western countries, will join such rallies tomorrow because of logistical reasons.
The largest rally by far was held in Tehran where millions of people including President Ibrahim Raeisi, joined the rally.
Also present in the Tehran rally was Palestine Islamic Jihad Secretary General Ziyad Nakhalah, and chief of staff of Iraq’s Popular Mobilization Units (Hashd al-Sha'abi) Abd al-Aziz al-Muhammadawi.
From Indonesia in the east to Morocco in the north-west, there were rallies in virtually all capitals and major cities.
“Today, all fronts of the Axis of Resistance against the zionist enemy have united, PIJ leader Nakhalah said.
“Now the Axis of Resistance is strong and what is going on in southern Lebanon, Yemen and in Iraq operations confirms the unity, strength and readiness of this axis in the fight against Israel,” he added.
“Definitely, what is unfolding today among all the groups of the Axis of Resistance in Yemen, Iraq, Lebanon and Palestine as well as the Islamic Republic of Iran is the declaration of Israel’s decline,” Muhammadawi, known as Abu Fadak, told reporters on Friday.
This year’s Quds Day rallies assumed added significance in view of the ongoing zionist genocide in Gaza.
The zionist threat to Masjid al-Aqsa is very real.
Fanatical illegal zionist squatters from Europe and North America have converged on Occupied Palestine and are pushing their demonic plans to destroy the holy sanctuary.
Their plan is to build their mythical third temple.
The defence of Masjid al Aqsa is not just the responsibility of the Palestinians.
True, they happen to be in the frontline defending it from zionist marauders with their bodies and limbs.
Scores have been martyred in defence of the noble sanctuary.
The least the Muslims elsewhere can do is to raise their voices in support of the oppressed Palestinian people and rise in defence of Masjid al-Aqsa.
Zionist barbarism must be exposed, condemned and confronted.
Similarly, the cowardly Muslim, especially Arab rulers must be exposed.
They are the enemies of Allah and His faithful servants.
Their corrupt regimes must be overthrown to facilitate true unity among Muslims worldwide.
The liberation of Makkah and al-Madinah must top the list.
It is the occupation of these two holy cities by the Najdi Bedouins that is preventing the mobilization of the Ummah for the liberation of Masjid al Aqsa.
The time for slumber is over.
It is time to rise up in support of the oppressed Palestinian people and join the struggle for the liberation of Masjid al Aqsa.
Even many non-Muslims have now joined the struggle realizing the demonic nature of the zionist ideology.
