After proclaiming for weeks that he would expel the Palestinians from Gaza and would “take over” and “own” Gaza, including using US troops, US President Donald Trump walked back from it on February 21. He made the retreat in an interview with Fox News Radio’s Brian Kilmeade. He said: “I’ll tell you the way to do, it is my plan. I think that’s the plan that really works. But I’m not forcing it. I’m just going to sit back and recommend it.”
Even by Trump’s bizarre standards, the proposal to ethnically cleanse Gaza and take it over to turn it into the “Riviera of the Middle East” left most observers shaking their heads in disbelief. These included some Republicans as well: Rand Paul and Lindsey Graham, for instance.
He made these remarks at a press conference alongside visiting Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu on February 4. He said the Palestinians should be moved to Jordan and Egypt. Rulers of both countries categorically rejected Trump’s idea. It is not because they have any sympathy for the Palestinians. They fear the destabilization of their countries that in turn would pose a threat to their hold on power.
Officials in the Trump regime tried to walk back some of his comments. White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said that Trump had not committed to US troops on the ground in Gaza. She also added that the Palestinians’ “relocation” would be “temporary” without providing futher details.
Palestinians, especially in Gaza are quite familiar with promises of “temporary relocation”. They and their parents experienced this in 1948 in what came to be called the Nakba (catastrophe).
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio made a similar statement about “temporary relocation” trying to deflect the harsh criticism Trump’s plan has provoked globally. Trump’s—and Netanyahu’s—satanic plan is much broader than the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians from Gaza. It includes occupying large swathes of Jordan, Iraq, Syria, Egypt and Saudi Arabia for the ‘Greater Israel’ project.
Let us be clear, the Palestinians’ ethnic cleansing is not a minor issue to be brushed aside. Palestine is their historic land. The only place they should be relocated to is their homes in zionist-occupied Palestine from which they were ethnically cleansed in 1948.
It is the zionist marauders who should be relocated to Eastern and Western Europe, Russia and North America from where they came and stole the land of the Palestinians. The zionists do not belong in Palestine; the Palestinians do, hence the name Palestine.
For the record, let us identify the country of origin of various zionist leaders. Theodor Herzl, the founder of the zionist movement, was born in Hungary. Below are names of countries from where the zionists came. Most have East European ancestry and have no connection to Palestine.
Ze’ev Jabotinsky, Golda Meir (real name Goldie Mabovitch) and Bezalel Smotrich (Ukraine); David Ben Gurion (born as Grün), Benjamin Netanyahu (father’s name was Benzion Mileikowsky that he changed to Netanyahu) and Yoav Gallant (Poland);
Menachem and Yitzhak Shamir—real name, Icchak Jaziernicky—(Belarus);
Ariel Sharon—name at birth Scheinerman— (Georgia);
Yair Lapid (Serbia);
Benny Gantz: (Romania-Hungary);
Gilad Erdan (Romania);
Isaac Herzog (Ireland).
Some are even from Arab countries such as Eli Cohen (Morocco) and Itamar Ben Gvir (Iraq). It matters not where they came from. They are all alien invaders in Palestine. They are thieves and bandits. They have no connection to the land of Palestine regardless of how much historical forgery they may indulge in to try and justify their claims.
We must, however, return to the question of who planted the idea of the Palestinians’ relocation in Trump’s mind. The zionist neo-Nazis—Smotrich and Ben Gvir, for instance—have frequently called for the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians. It was, however, Trump’s Jewish son-in-law Jared Kushner who first broached the subject at a forum at Harvard University a year ago (February 15, 2024).
Organized by the Middle East Initiative, a program of Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government, Kushner praised the “very valuable” potential of Gaza’s “waterfront property”. He suggested that Israel should remove civilians while it “cleans up” the strip. (Kushner’s interview is available on The Middle East Initiative YouTube channel).
The idea of ethnically cleansing Palestinians from Gaza was planted in Kushner’s mind by his zionist allies in Israel (He is very close to war criminal Netanyahu). Soon after Hamas’s daring operation of October 2023, the zionists developed a plan to empty out Gaza. They thought it would take only a few weeks to defeat Hamas and Palestine Islamic Jihad (PIJ). Thereafter, the zionists would embark on their demonic plot of ethnic cleansing.
Kushner’s remarks at Harvard assumed greater significance with Trump’s return to power. Initially it was considered unlikely but when Trump entered the White House, the plan was brought forward and announced during Netanyahu’s visit to the White House on February 4.
Ethnically cleansing Gaza is only the first part of a larger demonic plot. The larger plan is to expand zionist Israel’s borders to Jordan, Iraq Syria, Saudi Arabia and Egypt. Israel’s borders would stretch from the Euphrates to the Nile, as per the inscription at the entrance to the Knesset.
Not surprisingly, Netanyahu said on February 6, that Saudi Arabia has a lot of empty land. It should establish a Palestinian state there. The zionists feel they are on a roll. With Kushner whispering in Trump’s ear, they feel they have it all sealed.
There is, however, an even better idea. As one of the largest countries in the world (third largest by land mass), the US has a lot of empty space. One does not have to think of frigid states like Montana or Minnesota where the zionists can be settled. There is lots of empty land in Arizona, Nevada and New Mexico. Since the zionists claim they made the desert bloom in Palestine, they could put their agricultural expertise to good use in these states.
Americans should welcome the zionists in their midst. Instead of doling tens of billions of dollars annually to the parasites living in the bottomless pit called Israel, the zionists would become productive citizens of the US. Many are already dual citizens. Besides, they share many cultural traits: they are greedy, completely dishonest and most of them are gay or lesbian. Hollywood would welcome them with open arms.
The establishment of the zionist state in the US would also end the wars in West Asia where the people would heave a collective sigh of relief.
The Palestinians are not going anywhere. They will stand up and fight for their land with whatever they have. They proved it over 15 months as they faced the zionist genocidal onslaught. And they will not roll over for the greedy Americans regardless of Trump’s nonsensical rant to appease his zionist billionaire backers.
The Egyptians have come up with their own plan for Gaza’s reconstruction without displacing the Palestinians. And it will be paid for by the Arab regimes. Why not demand that Israel and the US pay for it? After all, these two regimes are primarily responsible for the death and destruction visited upon the Palestinian people.
