Nuclear weapons are rightly called weapons of mass destruction. While the nuclear non-proliferation treaty calls for all members to reduce their stockpiles with the intention to ultimately abolish them, the major nuclear powers have demonstrably failed to do so.

Like previous years, 2022 has been a pretty nasty year for most people globally. We look at the bad and the not-so-bad developments of the past year and what it may portend for the future.

Throughout history, human beings have been involved in wars. The last century was particularly brutal. The patterns of war, however, seem to be changing and those at a disadvantage are fast catching up with developments in latest technology.
