Calls to boycott Hajj have grown louder in recent years, primarily due to the Saudis’ mismanagement of Hajj and their using the billions of dollars made from exorbitant pilgrimage fees (in contravention of divine and prophetic commands) to kill fellow Muslims — more than 70,000 innocent people in Yemen. The Saudis are also responsible — directly or indirectly — for the deaths of millions of other Muslims. Not only should Muslims boycott Hajj as long as Bani Saud are in control but also the management of Hajj should be taken out of the control of those unfit to administer its affairs.
