Why are some people considered worthy of more attention than others? Hypocrisy about this phenomenon must be exposed.

There is much hypocrisy in the world relating to human suffering as your editorial, “The hierarchy of human suffering,” pointed out (CI, April 2016). While we cannot expect much from the self-serving policies of the Western world, far higher standards are expected of Muslim charitable organizations that take in millions of dollars in donations from Muslims. If they follow the West’s agenda, they are guilty of hypocrisy and not deserving of Muslim donations.
