Iran inflicts crushing defeat on US despite Trump’s blood curdling threats

Islamic Iran’s defeat of the US-zionist war criminals surpasses the US humiliation in Afghanistan in 2021.

A last minute announcement by mediator Pakistan before Donald Trumps’ threat to destroy Iran’s civilization said that US and Iran had agreed to a two-week ceasefire and the opening of the Strait of Hormuz.

Trump had threatened to attack Iran’s civilian infrastructure, a threat that was roundly condemned worldwide.

Legal experts said targeting Iran’s civilian infrastructure is a war crime.

Many US congress members also expressed dismay at Trump’s war crimes threats and called for invoking article 25 of the US constitution to remove Trump from office.

Iran’s Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) declared a “historic and crushing defeat” of the United States and the Israeli regime after 40 days of war.

It announced that Washington was forced to accept a 10-point Iranian proposal that includes a permanent ceasefire, the lifting of all sanctions, and the withdrawal of US combat forces from the region.

According to the statement, the US has agreed to a 10-point proposal that fundamentally commits Washington to:

• No new aggression against Iran
• Continued Iranian control over the Strait of Hormuz
• Acceptance of uranium enrichment
• Removal of all primary sanctions
• Removal of all secondary sanctions
• Termination of all UN Security Council resolutions
• Termination of all Board of Governors resolutions
• Payment of compensation to Iran
• Withdrawal of US combat forces from the region
• Cessation of war on all fronts, including against the heroic Islamic Resistance of Lebanon.

Several points are worthy of note.

Iran maintains full control of the Strait of Hormuz and all traffic through it must submit to Iran’s armed forces directives.

The ceasefire applies to all fronts: Lebanon, Palestine, Yemen and Iraq.

All American bases in the region must be dismantled, all US sanctions against Iran must be lifted and compensation must be paid for destruction of civilian infrastructure.

“Iran has achieved a great victory and has forced criminal America to accept its own 10-point proposal,” the SNSC statement read.

The statement by the top security body described the past 40 days as one of the “heaviest combined battles in history,” in which Iran and its allies in Lebanon, Iraq, Yemen, and occupied Palestine inflicted blows that “the historical memory of the world will never forget.”

“Iran and the Resistance have almost completely destroyed the American military machine in the region,” it stated.

“They have inflicted crushing and deep blows on the vast infrastructure and capabilities that the enemy had built and deployed around the region over many years for this war against Iran.”

The statement added that within the occupied territories, Resistance forces had dealt “devastating and crushing blows to the enemy’s forces, infrastructure, facilities, and assets.”

Trump’s threat to annihilate Iran’s civilization was a cover behind which he made his grand retreat.

His generals had made it clear to him that the war against Iran was unwinnable.

The temporary cessation of hostilities comes four days after the US suffered massive losses in a failed attempt to steal Iran’s uranium.

The US lost at least eight military aircraft in the attempt on April 3.

These included an F-15E fighter aircraft that was shot down over Iran and both crew members had to bail out.

Two A-10 Warthog planes, two black hawk helicopters and two C-130 transport planes were also shot down. Two other smaller helicopters were also destroyed.

In an incredible feat of prowess, Iran also managed to shoot down two F-35 stealth bombers.

These are supposed to be invisible to the radar but Iran’s air defence systems managed to track and shoot them down.

More humiliation awaited the US but it seems Americans generals were finally able to get through the thick skull of Trump that the US had lost the war and it should cut its losses.

What happens next?

Indirect talks are scheduled in Islamabad, Pakistan on April 10 and are expected to last for 15 days.

They may be extended by mutual consent if agreement is not reached during this time.

The top security body said it is essential that during this period, complete national unity is maintained and victory celebrations continue with strength.

Millions of Iranian women had made a human shield around civilian infrastructure in defiance of US threats to bomb them.

They came with their children and babies to show that they were not afraid of American and zionist threats.

When people are guided by Islam’s lofty principles, they become impervious to death.
