Not surprisingly, the Israeli occupation army found no tunnels underneath Al-Shifa Hospital.

Israeli soldiers had barged into the hospital with their guns blazing on November 15 and again today terrorizing patients, medical staff and the thousands of people taking shelter there.

During their first entry into the hospital, they dragged patients out of beds.

More than 1,000 Palestinian males were also stripped to their underwear and ordered to come out of the hospital with their hands up.

What were the zionists expecting?

That Palestinian civilians taking shelter in the hospital would be armed?

Instead, the Israeli army came up with the nonsensical claim that they had found a “Kalashnakov rifle and a laptop” in a bag inside the hospital.

More than a week ago, Hamas officials had warned that Israel will plant weapons and claim they belong to the resistance group.

Medical staff at the hospital have rejected the Israeli allegations of weapons or the hospital being used as a Hamas command centre.

Since it is not possible to dig tunnels underneath the hospital in a hurry, the zionists came up with the guns’ story.

The zionists barged into the hospital—it constitutes a war crime—shooting at patients inside the hospital.

There was no return fire.

Not surprisingly, most of the world except western media outlets that have acted as cheerleaders for Israeli genocide, refused to accept zionist allegations.

Patients were locked up in locker rooms, according to Al-Shifa medical staff.

The zionists are compulsive liars.

They shamelessly make up stories and expect the world to believe them.

If people do not believe their lies, they are accused of being ‘anti-semites’.

Did the zionists not allege that Hamas had “beheaded 40 babies”?

This was a scandalous lie and exposed within a day but the zionist-doting western media still ran with it.

So did US president Joe Biden who is an apologist for Israeli crimes and the zionist entity’s principle financier.

He went on repeating it several days after it was exposed to be false.

Regarding the Israeli allegation that there are tunnels underneath Al-Shifa Hospital, the Pentagon also repeated this allegation.

It also said that underneath Al-Shifa Hospital there was a Hamas command centre.

None of this has turned out to be true.

Even if it were true, that still does not give Israel the right to attack a hospital, any hospital.

Yet the Israeli occupation army has destroyed half of Gaza’s hospitals, putting at risk thousands of patients and premature or wounded babies.

Hamas senior member, Ezzat El Rashq said “The occupation forces are still lying … as they brought some weapons, clothes and tools and placed them in the hospital in a scandalous manner.”

Who is to be believed: Israel or Hamas?

Israel has a track record of lying, from the “beheaded babies” claims to Hamas “killing Israeli civilians on October 7.”

The “beheaded babies” story was exposed by the US-based news website The Grayzone, as a lie.

And, the allegation that Hamas killed Israeli settlers at a Kibbutz was refuted by an Israeli mother of three, Yasmin Porat in her interview with the Israeli radio, Haboker Hazeh.

She confirmed that Hamas fighters treated them humanely.

It was the Israeli police and soldiers’ indiscriminate firing that caused civilian deaths.

Hamas has repeatedly called for a committee from the United Nations, the World Health Organization and the International Committee of the Red Cross to verify Israel’s claims of Hamas tunnels under Gaza hospitals.

Israel has stubbornly refused to agree to an independent, international team to investigate the situation in al-Shifa.

Why?

The fact is that an independent inquiry will expose Israeli lies.

That is not something that the habitual zionist liars want.

They insist that the world must accept their lies because they need a pretext to continue the genocide of Palestinian civilians.

The zionists have already murdered more than 11,500 people in Gaza, more than 70 percent of them women and children.

Legal experts, such as Professor Raz Segal, have said Israel’s assault on Gaza is a textbook case of genocide.

New York civil liberties group, the Center for Constitutional Rights (CCR) has filed a lawsuit on behalf of Palestinian human rights organisations.

CCR has charged Biden, Secretary of State Blinken and Secretary of Defence Lloyd Austin with aiding and abetting Israel’s genocide against the Palestinian people.

Israel must be held accountable for its crimes as must those aiding and abetting it.
