A native son of Arabia, Mohammad H. Siddiq says there are ‘No freedoms in Arabia!’
In “Saudi” Arabia, the people are used, abused, and misused by the king and the ruling amirs. In the desert kingdom you are safe only if you hold your tongue, flash a smile, and walk away. In “Saudi” Arabia, speaking your mind could cost you your life. In that land, and only there and nowhere else in the world, women are the silent and invisible majority.
Simply put, there is little doubt that Bani Saud’s murderous rule deserves to be called “evil.” The lack of true shura and the widespread human rights abuses are enough to justify the use of this term, and many other similar ones.
When I was living in “Saudi” Arabia, I kept my thoughts to myself locked securely in the back of my mind. Why? Because it was the only safe place in the country. Need I say more?
