It is not difficult to imagine how the narcissist-in-chief Donald Trump feels about the November 4 election results.
It can be summed up in one word: lousy.
In every city and state, Trump and his divisive agenda were trounced.
The biggest blow was delivered by New York City.
Democratic candidate Zohran Mamdani, an immigrant born in Uganda, trounced the Trump- endorsed candidate Andrew Cuomo.
The unkindest cut is that Mamdani is a Muslim and anti-Israel.
That makes him completely un-American, as far as Trump and the US establishment are concerned.
Every American politician has to be 100% pro-Israel and more supportive of the zionist entity than America itself.
And as far as the racist-in-chief in the White House is concerned, there is no good Muslim in the world.
For the record, we are not supportive of either party.
Both are controlled by the oligarchs and serve zionist interests.
As Shakespeare would say: Plague on both your houses.
There are, however, moments when some developments bring temporary relief.
Mamdani’s victory in the New York mayoral race is one of them.
In his victory remarks, he directly addressed Trump, saying: “I know you are watching this right now, Mr Trump. So, I have four words for you: ‘Turn the volume up’,” as his supporters cheered.
Then he rubbed it in:
“New York will remain a city of immigrants: a city built by immigrants, powered by immigrants and, as of tonight, led by an immigrant… To get to any of us, you will have to get through all of us.”
One could almost see Trump tearing out the few strands of hair left on his balding head.
As former Obama advisor and liberal podcast host Dan Pfeiffer pointed out, Mamdani won 9% of New York City’s Trump voters.
The results were equally grim for Trump and the Republican party elsewhere.
Both in Virginia and New Jersey, people elected Democratic governors.
Virginia even elected the Indian-born Muslim Ghazala Hashmi as Lieutenant Governor, the first in state history.
In California, Govenor Gavin Newsom’s Proposition 50 won a resounding endorsement from the electorate.
It would redistribute electoral boundaries giving Democrats a shot at winning as many as five additional seats in the House of Representatives.
Proposition-50 in America’s largest state was a response to redistricting moves in Texas that inspired a number of similar moves and counter-moves in states like Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, and Missouri.
Newsom is a potential 2028 aspirant for the presidency and would boost his chances in the party should he seek the Democratic nomination.
Political gerrymandering is common in the US.
Redistribution of electoral maps in any state is meant to give the ruling party an advantage over their rivals.
This is not different from what happens in third world countries—sh*thole countries in the crude words of Trump.
Welcome to democracy, American style.
If the oligarchs feel discomfited by Mamdani’s victory, then that should be welcome news.
