‘Saudi’ Arabia’s court preacher, Abdulrahman al Sudais was confronted in a Geneva Mosque after he praised US President Donald Trump as “peacemaker” and supporting the Saudi genocidal war on Yemen.

After Sudais spoke on June 29, a Muslim on crutches got up and asked if the Shaykh would be willing to answer a question.

The organizers thought the person would ask either for a favor or some other question related to personal hygiene, as is customary on such occasions.

Instead the questioner asked: “how could America and Saudi Arabia lead the nations of the world toward peace while they stand over people in peace?

“How can you lecture us about peace while you boycott and starve your brothers in Yemen and Qatar?”

Taken aback the security personnel rushed the brother who was on crutches and tried to prevent him from speaking.

The brother, however, was determined to get his message across.

He went on: “You stood up and supported the 1992 coup in Algeria, the Egyptian coup and the Turkish coup. Stop them [from killing innocent people in these countries] for they [the coup-makers] are responsible [for all such killings].”

He explained that he was not a member of the Ikhwan al Muslimoon or any other group but he was concerned about the suffering of innocent people at the hands of tyrants and oppressors and he expected Sudais, who carries the title of Imam of Masjid al Haram in Makkah, to speak the truth.

Despite attempts by the security to block him, the questioner pressed his point telling Sudais that “you are dealing with Allah. What would you say to Him on the Day of Judgment?”

“When you are standing in front of Allah on the Day of Accountability, then the word of truth to a tyrant oppressive ruler and his supporters will be your key to success, in sha Allah.”

The Saudi regime has led a coalition of forces to wage a brutal war on dirt-poor Yemen. An estimated 13,000 people have been murdered and another 600,000 injured since the Saudis unleashed the war in March 2015.

The UN estimates that 22 million of Yemen’s 24 million people are food deficient and 8.8 million are on the verge of starvation.

There are more than one million children afflicted by cholera, the worst cholera epidemic in history, according to the UN. This is the direct result of the Saudi siege of and attack on Yemen.

The Saudi regime has also wholeheartedly bought into the diabolical plot of the US to sell the Palestinians down the drain.

Led by Trump’s Jewish Zionist son-in-law Jared Kushner and supported by American Christian Zionists, the Palestinians are told to forget about statehood. Instead, accept a tiny village of Abu Dis as their capital and live in Israeli controlled Bantustans.

The Saudi regime has not uttered a single word to condemn Zionist crimes against the Palestinians in Gaza.

Saudi preachers, that have historically spread Wahhabi extremism, are suddenly projecting themselves as “peacemakers.”

They have latched on to the young erratic Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman’s insulting ideas of freedom by opening up gambling casinos and beaches in the kingdom where women can go in bikinis or even topless!

Political freedoms, however, remain off limits.

The Saudi scholars for dollars are there to say ‘Amen’ to everything the corrupt rulers present to them.

While in the medieval kingdom, a questioner would be quickly whisked away, thrown in a dungeon or have his head chopped off, this cannot happen abroad.

It is important that more Muslims stand up to these spreaders of corruption and hatred, the dinosaurs from the dark crevices of Saudi Arabia.

They need to be told in no uncertain terms that they and their distorted views of Islam are not acceptable to Muslims.
