Among the illegitimate Arabian regimes, Morocco occupies a rather strange place.
It remains under the radar primarily because other Arabian upstarts—the UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, Jordan, Egypt and Saudi Arabia—are in the forefront of normalizating relations with the zionist entity.
When Morocco’s Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita met his Israeli counterpart Gideon Sa’ar in New York last month, it immediately sparked massive protests in Morocco.
The New York meeting was shepparded by US ambassador to the United Nations, Mike Waltz.
What aroused the anger of the Moroccan people was the announcement that the two countries would elevate their liaison offices to embassies and appoint ambassadors.
Major cities in Morocco—Marrakech, Rabat, Fez and others—were rocked by protests for three days.
People made their opposition to normalization with Israel known in no uncertain terms.
In Rabat, demonstrators gathered outside the Parliament building chanting, “The people want the fall of normalization.”
Despite its limited freedon, the Moroccan media reported this.
Protesters in Marrakech shouted, “No ambassador, no embassy.”
The people were already seething with anger over Morocco’s establishment of diplomatic ties with the illegitimate zionist entity in 2020.
This followed on the heels of the UAE and Bahrain establishing diplomatic ties with the zionist entity in what is referred to as the ‘Abraham Accords’.
As a sop to Morocco, US President Donald Trump recognized Morocco’s sovereignty over the Western Sahara.
Algeria also lays claim to the territory and relations between Morocco and Algeria have remained tense over the future of the territory.
As a US-western puppet, Morocco has gone further.
It hosts African Lion, the largest US military exercise in Africa.
It is akin to the US Fifth Fleet that was based in Bahrain ostensibly to protect Bahrain and threaten Islamic Iran.
It has now been obliterated by Iranian missiles and drones.
America’s ‘African Lion’ is likely to experience a similar fate.
It is, however, the dismissal of people’s sentiment—a situation not dissimilar to other despised dictatorial regimes in the region—that is most troubling.
King Mohammed VI is an absolute monarch, like all the other dictators in West Asia and North Africa.
He became ‘king’ following his father, King Hassan II’s death in July 1999.
That hardly qualifies him to be king, not even a ruler.
There is no dynastic rule in Islam.
It is the worst kind of bid‘ah introduced since the time of king Mu‘awiah who usurped power in complete violation of the established Islamic practice.
These dinosaurs have continued to plague the Muslim world and have immense suffering to Muslims, both at home and abroad.
That the Moroccan monarch would embrace the zionist war criminals while the genocide of Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank continues is a disgrace.
Nothing better, however, can be expected from the western puppets and clowns.
The people of Morocco should not only denounce the normalization with the zionist entity but call for the overthrow of the monarchy.
There should be properly instituted government based on Islamic principles and the consent of the people.
