by John Vanderbilt (Letters To The Editor, Crescent International Vol. 41, No. 5, Sha'ban, 1433)
The US is in terminal decline. Its economy is shattered and there is little prospect of recovery, at least in the near future.
Militarily it has suffered defeats in two countries — Iraq and Afghanistan — and if its rulers are foolish enough to get involved in other wars, they will face total ruin. With millions of unemployed and no prospects of improvement, we may be seeing the end of the US as a leading power. We the American people must assume our responsibility in stopping the warmongers in the US.
