


Almost back-to-back meetings between Iranian officials and their Chinese and Russian counterparts provide a solid foundation for confronting US and its allies’ belligerence, threats and sanctions. There is a convergence of views on neutralizing Washington’s destructive policies

This month, Iran celebrates 43 years of the Islamic Revolution. Despite a vicious campaign of assassinations, sabotage, an Iraqi-imposed war and illegal sanctions by the US, Islamic Iran has taken great strides in all fields including science, stem-cell research and space.

During the pandemic at least 160 million people have fallen into poverty but the billionaire class, all of them Americans except one, have increased their wealth and have turned into trillionaires. This is not the result of being smart; they manipulate the system to their advantage.

To deal with this hate-filled ideology, India needs to undergo some geographical surgery. India is an artificial state and such changes would usher peace in the region.

The meeting convened by the Ansar at Saqifah immediately after the Prophet (pbuh) joined Heavenly company was not based on malice. The meeting led to the appointment of Abu Bakr as Khalifah of the Muslims to avert chaos. Unfortunately, sectarians (both Sunnis and Shi‘is) have turned this into a contentious issue. It shouldn’t be.

The takfiri terrorists have been confined to pockets in Idlib province after 11 years of war. Iran and Syria have moved quickly to the reconstruction phase of Syria’s badly damaged infrastructure in which Islamic Iran will play a major role. This development belies the propaganda that Syria no longer wants Iran’s help.

Hindutva ideologues make fantastic claims about their country’s advances in science, technology, spaceships and aircraft thousands of years ago. One wonders where did all these inventions disappear to and India has hundreds of millions of paupers and beggars.

While Saudi crown prince Muhammad bin Salman (MbS) has used brutal methods including killings, imprisonment and torture to eliminate all rivals (real and imagined), to grab power, his ascension to the Saudi throne is not guaranteed. There are other contenders that are likely to challenge him.
