إن حمل النفس على الحقّ لتعويدها إياه، حتى يتجسّد فيها بعضه لمن لم يعرفه؛ هي أشقّ مهمّة قد يضطلع بها مخلوق: الدعوة إلى الله بالنفس، ومنها أشفقت السماوات والأرض والجبال. فإما هُدي بك خلقٌ من الناس، أو فُتنوا والعياذ بالله. والفارق بين إكراه غيرك على أمرٍ وتربيته عليه فارقٌ في النيّةِ أصلًا. فالإكراه السلوكي نموذجٌ تدريبي براني شركيّ، قصير المدى سطحي المفعول؛ لا يلزمه إيمانُ المتدرِّبِ بشيء. بعكس التربية الإيمانيّة الجوانيّة، طويلة المدى عميقة المفعول؛ التي تتشرَّب بها النفس قيمًا تنعكس تلقائيًا على الجوارح وتسري بهدوءٍ، وبغير تكلُّفٍ؛ في الاجتماع الإنساني. ولا يصدُر الإكراه إلا عن نيّةٍ مدخولةٍ وفهمٍ سقيمٍ؛ فالنفسُ فيه لا تتحمَّل تبِعَة أفعالها، بقدر ما تنشغل غالبًا بإرهاب المتدرِّب/المواطن/القاصر الخاضع لولايتها. ولو انشغل المربِّي مُخلصًا بنفسه، بنيّة تربية غيره؛ لسدّده اللطيف الخبير.
