The military coup in Egypt is a gross violation of people’s rights and it must be condemned by every human being that cares for justice and freedom.

Pakistan has a new president but few people are celebrating. In the month of Ramadan, most people are concerned about their livelihood and the stifling heat to worry much about who will occupy the opulant presidential palace in Islamabad.

The Egyptian military has exposed its brutal nature very quickly. Selection of the president is seldom done on the basis of merit; it is based on connections and whose interests you serve that determine the outcome. On July 30 Pakistanis will find out. The US-zionist-Saudi-backed takfiris in Syria are determined to instigate sectarian warfare in the Ummah because they are so consumed by hatred. Their tactics include attacks on shrines of the Ahlul Bayt as well as Sahaba that supported them. What kind of people that call themselves Muslims would indulge in such behavior?

The Egyptian military regime is getting desperate. Unable to suppress Mursi supporters that are keeping their vigil, the military dictator General Abdel Fattah el-Sisi called for massive show of support for Friday. The turnout of his hired thugs was less than anticipated but it does not matter since he just wants to use this as an excuse to clamp down even harder on the Muslim Brotherhood. The mass killings of Mursi supporters proves this.

President Mursi has succumbed to US-Saudi-zionist pressure and joined the crusade in Syria. Since becoming president, he has badly mishandled Egypt’s affairs and with a bankrupt economy, he has embarked on a policy that will have serious repercussions for the country’s future.

With the takfiri mercenaries suffering repeated military defeats in recent weeks (they never had any mass support), they and their foreign sponsors have resorted to the most vicious form of sectarian hatred in Syria.

With so much mayhem in the Muslim world, it is important that we do not lose sight of the continued Zionist occupation of al-Quds (Jerusalem). The last Friday of Ramadan has been designated as the Day of Quds and Muslims would do well to remember it and join it.
