Decisions carry consequences; and faulty decisions will lead to negative consequences as the Hamas leadership has found to its cost.

The Palestinians have suffered for decades at the hands of the Zionists and they continue to suffer to this day. The Zionists have stolen their land and turned them into refugees. The Arabian rulers, true to their cowardly nature, would rather promote sectarianism to kill other Muslims in places like Syria, Iraq and Pakistan but not lift a finger to help the long-suffering Palestinian people.

The Palestinian leadership has also fallen short of expectations. On the one hand we have the crooks and criminals of the PA who have sold the Palestinian cause for a fistful of dollars and on the other we have the short-sighted policies of people like Khalid Meshaal. One would have thought that a revolutionary like Khalid Meshaal would show better understanding of the global reality as well as the true nature of the Arabian rulers. How can we accept such blunders from one who fell for the charm offensive of the Qataris and accepted a comfortable existence in Doha while abandoning long-time allies in Tehran and Damascus? Does Meshaal really expect Qatar to help him liberate Palestine?
