Muslims can’t defend a Muslim country, but Zionist Jews can go and occupy Palestine!

When Jews from all corners of the world travel to Palestine to join the Zionist occupational army, Western corporate media never refers to them as foreign fighters.

While there has always been a double standard in favor of Israel by Western imperialist governments in terms of its socio-political and economic policies, the average citizen in the west knows little about the double standard when it comes to Israeli military recruitment of Western citizens to occupy Palestine.

On April 25, The Jewish Tribune, a Toronto community newspaper published a report about Jewish youngsters from various parts of the world that travel to Israel to join its notorious army that kills innocent Palestinians. The Jewish Tribune ran a glamorized story about how citizens of Hungary, Canada, Australia, Uzbekistan, Sweden, Netherlands, Mexico, Italy and France attended an event in occupied al-Quds (Jerusalem) prior to starting their military service in occupied Palestine. According to the report all foreign citizens arrived in Palestine without their families and came there primarily to join the Zionist armed group. As is usually the case, such people have no historical connection to Palestine and probably have never visited Palestine prior to their “aliyah.”

The report concluded by quoting one of the organizers of the event saying that “these brave young men and women are the future of the state of Israel… all of them made an aliyah to Israel with one main cause, which is to protect the Jewish homeland.”

Let’s imagine an alternative scenario. Suppose Muslims from Canada, France, Australia and other countries had arrived in Iraq to join the Iraqi army on the eve of the US invasion in 2003. What would the news headline be in the Western corporate media? Most probably for months the world would hear about Australian, American and Canadian “sleeper jihadis that are perpetrating acts of terrorism against the US liberating army.”

It would never be accepted by any Western government that its citizens would travel abroad to fight for another country unless it is a case like Syria where naïve Muslims are used as a cannon fodder by the US, Qatar and the EU to kill fellow Muslims under the banner of “democracy vs Bashar al-Assad.”

Citizens of Hungary, Canada, Australia, Sweden, Netherlands, Mexico, Italy and France must voice their concern about a phenomenon in which their governments allow their citizens to join an armed organization that is engaged in occupation of another people’s land. Since September 29, 2000, the Zionist occupation army has killed 1,516 Palestinian children.

Citizens of Hungary, Canada, Australia, Sweden, Netherlands, Mexico, Italy and France must voice their concern about a phenomenon in which their governments allow their citizens to join an armed organization that is engaged in occupation of another people’s land. Since September 29, 2000, the Zionist occupation army has killed 1,516 Palestinian children. Reasonable people must also ask why is it that when Muslims travel abroad to defend their countries and societies against imperialist aggression they are branded as “foreign terrorists” while foreign citizens of Jewish religion are described as heroes when they go and join armed conflict in a country to which they have no connection?
