
The food situation in Afghanistan is grim. It is facing a humanitarian catastrophe. Even the UN and World Food Program have confirmed this. Yet, Western regimes, led by the US, are holding funds that belong to Afghanistan, thereby exacerbating the problem

British home secretary, a Hindu extremist and Zionist, has declared even the political wing of Hamas as a “terrorist” organization. Hamas heads a duly elected government in Gaza but for Ms. Priti Patel, that is not good enough. She is doing her Zionist masters’ bidding.

Unfortunately, most Muslims are trapped in peripheral disputes relating to Fiqh while completely ignoring the much more important issues of Islam and proper understanding of Islamic history. Such dereliction has caused unnecessary problems and conflict.

In Palestine, the Zionists continue to arrest, torture and murder Palestinians without international opprobrium. Should Israel attack Hizbullah or Iran, it may receive a very harsh blow.

There are unmistakable signs that the US is inching toward some kind of understanding with the Taliban in Afghanistan. Using Pakistan’s good offices, new rounds of talks are also being held in Doha. India, meanwhile, is trying to intrude in Afghan affairs. It should stay out.

Life has become intolerably difficult for the vast majority of people in Pakistan because of skyrocketing prices, endemic corruption and the rapacious lifestyle of its elite. Drastic changes are needed if the country is to get out of its current predicament.

Racism is an integral part of Zionist ideology. Its victims are Palestinian men, women and children. They suffer daily humiliations and attacks perpetrated by Zionist squatters (aka settlers) and the heavily armed Israeli soldiers.

The Western-engineered civil war in Libya continues, destroying the once prosperous country in Africa. Elections are scheduled for December 24 but it is not certain whether they will be held. The list of candidates is long but Saif al-Islam, son of the late Libyan leader Muammar Qaddafi, has been disqualified.

While Muslims residing in Europe and North America may enjoy better economic prospects, their social life is not only in transition but also beset by challenges. Getting suitable spouses for their children is one of the most pressing issues.
