When you dig a hole for others, there is a risk of falling into it yourself. The Najdi Bedouins whose obscurantist ideas of Wahhabism have spawned the Takfiri terrorists are now getting a dose of their own medicine. The Takfiri terrorists attacked and killed 15 people, 12 of them members of an elite force, in a mosque in Abha Mosque.

The suicide bombing in a mosque in Abha, capital of the southern Asir province of Saudi Arabia yesterday (August 7) confirms that the takfiri terrorist chickens have come home to roost. At least 15 people were killed and many others wounded after a suicide bomber blew himself up inside a mosque in Abha, Saudi Arabia’s southwestern region. The Saudi Interior Ministry confirmed that the dead included 12 members of the elite Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) unit, and three workers.

The Takfiri terrorist group Daesh (aka ISIL/ISIS) claimed responsibility for the suicide attack. In an Internet statement, the Takfiri-affiliated group “Al-Hijaz Province” said it carried out the attack by detonating an explosive vest. Described as a “terrorist” attack by Saudi state TV channel al-Ekhbariya, comes as no surprise. Officials in the kingdom, however, were taken aback primarily because the takfiris are spawned by Wahhabism whose obscurantist ideas are enforced in the medieval kingdom.

The Takfiris have been spawned and supported by Wahhabi preachers and businessmen to target other Muslims, primarily in Syria and Iraq but also in ‘Saudi’ Arabia that do not subscribe to the obscurantist Wahhabi ideas. Shia Muslims in the Eastern part of ‘Saudi’ Arabia have been repeatedly attacked in such terrorist strikes. In May, the Imam Ali Mosque in al-Qadeeh village in the Eastern Province was targeted killing 21 Shia Muslims in the mosque.

That attack was claimed by another Takfiri-affiliated group calling itself “Najd Province.” A week, later another Shia Mosque in Eastern Province was targeted killing four people. The Abha mosque attack is worrying for the Najdi Bedouin rulers of the Arabian Peninsula for a number of reasons. First, their own spawned monsters have started to attack them. Second, the attack targeted elite Interior Ministry forces indicating penetration of the supposedly most secure areas and forces of the country. Third, the Najdi Bedouins have launched a vicious attack on Yemen and killed a lot of innocent people in the impoverished country but achieved few of their political or military objectives.

The Takfiri terrorist attack on the regime’s forces reveals the kinds of challenges the Najdi Bedouins face and confirms yet again that when you dig a hole for others, you are likely to fall into it. The Najdi Bedouins have nobody but themselves to blame for what has befallen them vis-à-vis the Takfiri terrorists.
