The miltiary and its henchmen in Egypt are getting desperate. While the Ikhwan al-Muslimoon, the country's only organized and most popular group has been banned and most of its leaders imprisoned, the regime has also unleashed thugs against them. In any other society, this would be roundly condemned. Instead, puppet media outlets are egging people on to attack the Ikhwan. Civil war cannot be very far.

Will Karzai sign the deal or won't he is the question giving sleepless nights to the Washington warlords. Afghan President Hamid Karzai is playing coy about signing the deal that would allow US forces to remain in Afghanistan indefinitely under the erroneously labeled Bilateral Security Agreement (BSA). Will Afghanistan come to America's rescue if the latter were attacked? The US wants a free hand in Afghanistan after 2014.

A massive car bomb exploded in Beirut's commercial district early today killing the former finance minister, Mohammad Shatah and five other people. At least 10 buildings were set on fire as ambulances rushed to the scene to pick up the wounded and dead. The explosion is bound to sharpen divisions in Lebanon. Former Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri hinted at Hizbullah's involvement, something the resistance group does not indulge in.

Egypt's military-installed regime and the military itself, are going after the Ikhwan al-Muslimoon with a sledgehammer. The organization has been banned by declaring it a “terrorist” group. Not only its leaders and members but anyone raising their voice in support are being hauled to prison. Many charities dependent on donations from the Ikhwan have closed down. The so-called liberals have applauded the ban.

The US continues to murder innocent people in Pakistan under what it describes as targeting “militants.” No proof is ever provided; what the US says, goes. Under mounting public pressure, Pakistan has said it will raise the issue at the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva. Will the Washington warlords listen, or care?

Turkey is gripped by a corruption scandal whose roots are entirely political. Foreign players such as the American CIA and the zionists are also involved through the secretive character Fethullah Gulen who runs a multi-billion enterprise across the world. Claiming to be a spiritual man, his links cast deep suspicions on his activities. Will the latest crisis in Turkey expose his true nature?

Killing unarmed Palestinian civilians is a favorite policy of the zionists. This is what they did again today when US-supplied Israeli warplanes bombed the tiny Gaza Strip several times killing two civilians, among them a three-year-old girl. While the cowardly Arab rulers have remained totally silent, Islamic Iran condemned the attacks in the strongest possible terms.

Unable to crush the Ikhwan al-Muslimoon movement, the military-installed regime in Egypt has resorted to more crude tactics. The Ikhwan (Muslim Brotherhood) has been declared a “terrorist” organization by appointed prime minister Hazem Beblawi (in photo) ahead of the January 14-15, 2014 referendum in order to isolate it. Pro-Ikhwan, anti-military regime protests continue in Egypt.

By common consent, Saudi intelligence chief and former ambassador to Washington Dc, Bandar bin Sultan, is a nasty character. He has now been named as being deeply involved in the 911 conspiracy. Who else from his contacts within the ruling circle in America and Israel are involved? Would Bandar end up on the US terror watch list for his role in the 911 attacks?
